Avant Garde, formally known as Advanced Avant Garde Corporation, is a progressive firm providing municipal and organizational clients throughout Southern California the highest quality program management services with an emphasis on Public Works, Community Development, Redevelopment, Community Services, and Administrative programs. Unique to Avant Garde is its history, and perhaps more importantly, is its Future. Avant Garde, Inc. was established in California in 2002.
Avant Garde is a certified MBE | WBE | DBE | SBE corporation. While Avant Garde continues to be a robust and thriving enterprise, it is nice to reflect on our beginnings. The Avant Garde vision was inspired by the founder’s municipal service experiences. As social and economic trends continued to challenge municipal business as they knew it, agencies were required to re-evaluate their services and the methods of delivering these services. In addition, it was clear that most municipal agencies had much room for improvement when it came to working efficiently and promoting their projects and programs. As a result, Avant Garde began providing needed services to offset bureaucratic programs and specialty or seasonal needs. Such services included Fund Administration, Grant Writing, Program Development, and Project Management.
The Avant Garde team worked with Public Works, Community Development, and Community Services Departments throughout Southern California to identify solutions for needed services with shrinking budgets. While working on these projects so became the apparent need to assist our clients in marketing, not only the projects we had a hand in, but the City as a whole. Community Outreach Services were offered to municipal customers and included Graphic Design, Website Design, Branding and Logo Development, Image Campaign, and Public Relations. While Avant Garde continues to provide a wide range of services to municipal agencies, we have expanded our clientele to include non-profit organizations and a variety of governmental and non-governmental agencies.
